Hanfu for families & kids in Xi'an: Yunjin Chang'an

Travelling to Xi'an with children? Dressing the whole family in Tang-dynasty hanfu — and walking the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City together — is one of the most memorable things a family can do in this city. Yunjin Chang'an （云锦长安） is a full-service hanfu studio on Cuihua Road: 700+ authentic outfits, an in-house team of makeup artists, and photographers who shoot at the city's classic spots.

How it works for families

Each person picks a hanfu outfit in store, then our stylists do full makeup and a period hairstyle. For adults, allow 1–2 hours for the complete look. For children we keep it shorter — about 40–50 minutes — because that is about as long as most kids happily sit still. Headpieces, wigs and lashes are included in the price; there are no add-on surprises at the till. Afterwards you can explore on your own, or add a photographer and come home with proper family portraits at the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, the Grand Tang Ever Bright City or the ancient City Wall.

Prices for families

• Hanfu + full makeup & hairstyling: ¥199 per person, everything included (outfit, headpieces, wig, lashes).
• Three-person package with photography: ¥1,099 in total — a popular choice for a parent with two children, or three siblings.
• Photo shoots on their own start from ¥599.
You pay on arrival at the store. Nothing is charged in advance.

Booking from overseas — no WeChat needed

Many of our international guests arrive without WeChat. Simply message us on WhatsApp +86 180-9207-8118: tell us your date, the time you would like, and how many adults and children are coming. We reply in English with a confirmation and directions. If you are arriving by high-speed train on the day, a mid-afternoon slot (around 2:00 PM) leaves comfortable time to reach us and get styled before the evening lights.

Finding the store

We are on the ground floor of Cuihuali on Cuihua Road, Yanta District — right next to the Crystal Orange Hotel （桔子水晶酒店）, beside the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City and about 1 km from the Shaanxi History Museum. For a taxi driver, show: 陕西省西安市雁塔区翠华路翠华里一层商铺（桔子水晶酒店隔壁）。Look for the storefront sign 十里红妆阁汉服馆 — our two brands, Yunjin Chang'an and Shili Hongzhuang, have merged into this one store, so that sign is us.

Can children do it? Yes — children visiting as a family are welcome, with kids' styling of about 40–50 minutes each.
What is included in ¥199? The hanfu outfit, full makeup, hairstyling, headpieces, wig and lashes. Photography is separate (from ¥599), or included in the ¥1,099 three-person package.
Do we need to bring anything? No. Arrive empty-handed; outfits are professionally cleaned after every wear.
When are you open? Every day, 10:00–21:00. Booking ahead is recommended on weekends and holidays.
